Draft terms for [LEGAL NAME]. Have them checked before Google Play review.
Terms
Drivery is a drivers’ network for Preston. These are the terms of use for groups, chat, calls, the map, pings and SOS. The operator is [LEGAL NAME], [POSTAL ADDRESS]. The Play developer name is [DEVELOPER NAME]. Contact: [CONTACT EMAIL]. Bilal is the moderation and child-safety contact: [SUPPORT EMAIL]. The community rules are on a separate page.
You must be 18 or over. The app is for working drivers. Creating an account asks you to confirm that. Use your own account. Do not share the password.
What is not allowed
- Threats, harassment, or telling someone to harm themselves or anyone else.
- Hate or abuse aimed at a person or a group.
- A passenger’s name, phone number, pickup address, booking reference, or any other personal detail about a customer.
- Spam, ads, or the same message posted over and over.
- Sexual content. Child sexual abuse and exploitation is not allowed. The community rules say that with zero tolerance, and how to report it.
- Pretending an emergency is happening, or ignoring a real SOS.
- Sharing your location to follow or intimidate someone.
SOS
SOS alerts drivers in your groups. It does not contact 999 and it does not replace the emergency services. If you are in danger, use Call 999, which opens the phone dialer, or call 999 yourself.
Reports, moderation and child safety
Use Report on a person or a message when a rule is broken. Bilal reviews open reports in the app. He can dismiss a report, remove the message, or suspend the account. A suspended driver can still read, and cannot post, start a call, share location, ping, send SOS, or file a report. Email Bilal at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Say how quickly that review will happen before you launch: [RESPONSE TIME].
Anything involving anyone under 18 is not allowed. Report it in the app and email [SUPPORT EMAIL]. Bilal is the child-safety contact.
Block hides that driver from you. It does not tell them, and it does not by itself delete their posts for everyone else.
What we may do
[LEGAL NAME] may remove content, end a call, or delete an account that breaks these rules or the law. Groups you created can remain after your account is deleted. Voice audio is not stored by Drivery.
Mileage tools on the phone are yours. Self-employed drivers see HMRC simplified expenses. Employed drivers see mileage allowance relief, which is the approved amount minus what the employer pays a mile. For cars and vans, GOV.UK on 23 October 2026 published 55p a mile for the first 10,000 business miles from 6 April 2026, 45p before that date, then 25p. The screen names the rule it used. The figures are estimates, not tax advice.
Last updated 23 October 2026. Draft, not a finished contract.
